Faculty undergo Courageous Civility training

All UCI Radiation Oncology faculty participated in the “Courageous Civility” training designed to challenge leaders to be more pro-active in the development of anti-racism and anti-discrimination initiatives. The two and a half hour customized training session focused on increasing the attendees’ knowledge, skill and confidence in the following key areas: implicit bias, addressing microaggressions, cultural humility, and the ability to effectively address topics of racial equity with their teams.
